First steps towards a sustainable product
The right fabrics
All the materials we use are Oeko-Tex certified or above. The Oeko-Tex certification means that the textiles have been tested for harmful substances. A growing number of our garments are made from organic materials such as, organic cotton, linen, bamboo, Tencel or wool. organic materials are produced without the use of synthetic pesticides and leave a smaller ecological footprint than other materials. Our ambition for 2024 is to use organic materials in all our clothing. This will result in a reduction of around 15% of our total CO2 emissions.
No Waste
Our mission is to make all our clothes from the best materials with a timeless design. By cooperating with craftsmen who carefully make our garments, it ensures that our clothes have a long lifespan and can be worn at all times. We do not do fast fashion but encourage slow & sustainable fashion.
No Plastic
Our goal is to use no more plastic. Plastic is used in almost all packaging materials. When the customer has received the product, the packaging material is often thrown away immediately, this has to change. By investing and experimenting in sustainable packaging materials, we want to maintain the same quality of packaging but use less and less plastic until using plastic becomes unnecessary and no longer needs to be used.
Reducing returns
By optimising our website and using a size chart, our aim is to reduce the number of returns. By doing so, we hope that the number of returns will decrease, which means that our carrier will have to drive back and forth less.
Fair working conditions and the lowest possible environmental impact are essential aspects of our company policy.
