Finding Fits That Compliment Your Figure

The fit is the key to an elegant appearance. Even the most luxurious Shirt or the softest Sweater loses its charm if the fit is wrong. The right fit flatters your figure, boosts your confidence, and ensures you look instantly polished.

In this short and punchy guide, we explain the three golden rules for the perfect fit, focusing on the most crucial points of every garment.

📏 The Three Essential Fit Checks

The perfect fit is universal and starts with these three points:

1. The Shoulder Seam: The Foundation

This is the most important check. The shoulder seam of your T-shirt, polo, or sweater should end precisely where your shoulder meets your arm.

  • Too Wide: The seam hangs over the edge of your shoulder. This looks sloppy and makes you appear broader.

  • Too Tight: The seam sits on your shoulder blade and pulls the fabric. This restricts your movement.

2. The Sleeve Length: The Details

The length of the sleeve determines how neat your outfit looks.

  • Long Sleeves (Sweaters, Half-zips): The cuff of your Half-zips should end where the wrist meets the hand and should not cover the top of your thumb. Aim for a margin of about 1-2 cm.

  • Short Sleeves (Polos): The sleeve of your Polo Shirt should ideally end halfway down your upper arm, making the arms appear longer. The sleeve should gently hug the arm, not squeeze it.

3. The Torso and Hem: Snug but Comfortable

This defines your silhouette. In modern fits, the fabric is meant to follow your figure without being tight.

  • Waist: You should easily be able to pinch 2-3 cm of fabric at your torso. Is it more? Then it's too wide. Is it pulling? Then it's too tight.

  • Length (T-shirts, Sweaters): The bottom hem should end at or just below the hips. This applies to All Products, unless you tuck it into your Trousers. Too long makes your legs look shorter.

💡 Fit versus Cut (Slim vs. Regular)

Although Slim Fit and Regular Fit define the cut (how the fabric is tailored across the torso), the golden rules of the shoulder seam and sleeve length apply to both. Always start with the shoulder.
