Hoe kies je de juiste pasvorm bij een overhemd?

How do you choose the right fit for a shirt?

A great shirt only looks stylish when it fits well.
Too tight looks uncomfortable, too loose looks sloppy.

Here’s how to choose the perfect fit — for every man and every occasion.

1. Check the shoulder seams 🎯

The seams should end where your shoulders end.

  • Too high: pulls the shirt

  • Too low: looks baggy

👉 Our Vercate shirts are designed with a modern, comfortable shoulder line.

2. Focus on the waist (slim vs. regular fit) 👕

  • Slim fit: follows the body shape without clinging

  • Regular fit: slightly roomier, more freedom of movement

Tip: slim fit works best under blazers; regular fit is ideal for casual wear or broad shoulders.

3. Check sleeve length ✂️

With arms at your side, cuffs should end just above the thumb.
Too short = childish, too long = messy.

👉 Our non-iron shirts keep their length even after many washes.

4. The collar: fits snugly, never tight 👔

The collar should close comfortably without squeezing.
Tip: you should be able to slide one finger between the collar and your neck.
