2019
Founders Jan-Jaap and Rowdy worked together for many years in a bedding shop, where they had to be neatly dressed every day. The two friends had a passion for fashion and were always looking for a new shirt. In 2019, they decided to combine their passion for fashion and started the clothing brand Vercate from their dorm room. They designed unique garments of high quality. The garments are mainly iron-free, providing all the comforts for men.

Ironing-free clothes
An iron-on shirt is made with a special way of weaving the fabric. Imagine that the fabric of the shirt is made by weaving small threads together, just like a kind of weave. In the special weaving technique for ironing-free shirts, we ensure that these small threads are woven very closely together. This ensures that there is less space between the threads, making the shirt less likely to crease. Thanks to our special weaving technique, Vercate specialises in ironing-free clothing.
